Each storage container counts as one piece of furniture. There are three common types of storage containers: Cupboard, Chest, and Shelves, plus the exclusive paid content Suitcases. Your storage maximum affects both your Crafted Items and the maximum amount you can have of each Rare Resource. Rare Resources do not occupy item storage space, instead they each have their own cap equal to your maximum storage space. Placing a storage container into or out of your warehouse does not destroy equipment or rare resources.
- Note:You cannot remove a storage item from the shop if it would decrease your maximum to below the number of items currently stored.
Common Storage containers all upgrade the same; Suitcase info however is different and can be found on its own page.
